J-Fest is more than a festival.

Every part of J-Fest is built around connection, inclusion, and belonging, the same energy and love Jody brought wherever she went.

J-Why J-Fest Matters

J-Fest showed what is possible when inclusion is not an afterthought, when everyone, no matter their needs or abilities, can take part side by side.

That atmosphere of acceptance and togetherness inspired us to take what we learned and help other organisers do the same at their events.

That is how Bass Therapy was born.
To stop others facing the barriers Jody faced.
To make sure nobody has to fight to be included.

WHAT PEOPLE SAY ABOUT J-FEST…

  • J-FEST is one of the best up and coming festivals in the country!

    It is getting bigger and better each year. I went to the first festival and took my then 18 month old, he had the time of his life. It was so warming to see people of all abilities in one place to indulge into the music and share one love. it really is a breath of fresh air and we cannot wait for next year!

  • J-Fest was one of the most overwhelming and beautiful experiences that I have ever had the privilege of attending.

    The unbelievable hard work that every single one of the 'J-Fest Family' have put into creating a wonderful, fully accessible and inclusive festival for all ages and all disabilities was, and is incredible.

  • J-Fest is absolutely fantastic! From what was started as an idea of a memorial get together to celebrate the life of Jody, something amazing has grown that will ensure her legacy lives on forever.

    Kyley and the Bass Therapy crew have everything covered; there's accessible glamping for the hard-core ravers who want to stay and require space and power for medical equipment, there's runways and dance floors that are perfect for wheelchair users, a sensory area for those who might need a little time out to reset, an accessible climbing wall with the most amazing instructors, alcohol free options at the bar and delicious food options for all. This is all in addition to the epic music experience!!
